Traffic and communities

If you have targeted lenses, be sure to read this post, it helps alot in getting traffic.

As an example, I'll use my Archlord lens.
The lens has been getting around 10 visitors per day. Since this was a new lens, and I'm short of time I didn't bother to promote it or do anything else with it.

One time I joined the official forums of the Archlord game. I also made a signature with a link to my lens (stating something like "Archlord tips and tricks"). I only posted 4 or 5 times in the newbie help section (usually with simple answers to questions from beginning players).
Immediately, the traffic coming from that signature link doubled the traffic to the lens.

So if you have time to spare, get involved in the communities of the topic your lens is about. It's a great traffic boost, and if you enjoy the subject, it's more fun than a burden.
